Cape Town City highlights & Table Mountain

Cape Town City highlights & Table Mountain

A comprehensive and historical inner City tour and an amazing cable car trip up a really old and iconic mountain
Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and was established in 1652 by the Dutch East Indian Company as a replenishing station for the passing ships that were plying their trade on the notorious sea spice route between Europe and the East. As a result, Cape Town is steeped in profound history, rich culture and natural beauty. It is also a wonderful melting pot of cultural diversity, making it one of those “must see” places on anyone’s travel agenda… A true “Rainbow Nation” as our beloved Nelson Mandela had wished for.
The city and surrounds are best known for their unsurpassed scenic splendor, award winning wines and culinary delights – not to mention its warm hospitality. The iconic flat-topped Table Mountain, at a mere 260 million years old, looms large over the city, wrapping its “arms” of Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head warmly around the city, giving it the nickname of the “Mother City”.
There is literally so much to do in and around this amazing city and we’ll guarantee you an amazing day out!
